2024 SUPPORT GROUPS 
Trauma Support In this group, we will discuss the following topics in a “open discussion” format designed to gain “insight” into the trauma that may be “crippling” us and stopping us from “moving forward” and growing emotionally.
• Establishing the “point of time” that the trauma occurred, in order to look at how the trauma has affected our lives since then
• Establishing the point in time when the trauma started taking power away from us.
• Recovery of the lost power-using tools and strategies to reclaim power
• Reclaiming what the Trauma/Perpetrator took away
• Introducing “good Stuff” into our lives (Reframing the Future)(Reclaiming our trauma to Reframe our Future)



TRAUMA EXPOSED In this group, we will discuss the following topics in a “open discussion” format designed IDENTIFY AND THEN, EXPOSE the trauma that may be “crippling” us and stopping us from “moving forward” and growing emotionally
• Saying out loud, your trauma for the first time
• Leaving it “out in the air”.
• Looking at your trauma, “from afar” as an observer.
• Looking at the “Participants…abuser, victim and perhaps the innocent bystanders that may have been affected.
• Characteristics of the Victim
• Healing from being a Victim
• The “turning” from being a victim to an Overcomer (“No Longer a Victim”)

FIXING THE FIXER In this group, we will discuss the following topics in a “open discussion” format designed to gain “insight” into the :Pressure and Responsibility that comes with being a caregiver or public servant in social services. It will allow the participant to be supported by others who are currently delt with this and/or those who are needing tips and encouragement to move forward
• Covid-a review on how it affected us all
• Things we “need to say” that we never said to anyone else
• Now that we said it….now what…planning the next step
• SUPPORT
• REPAIR
• RECOVERY
• WALKING IN VICTORY

CAREVIVER SUPPORT GROUP In this group, we will discuss the following topics in a “open discussion” format designed to gain “insight” into the Pressure and Responsibility that comes with being a caregiver and to get the needed support to continue.
• How did we get here?
• Now that we are here?
• We are not alone-learning and support from our peers.
• Balancing our lives
• Readiness for the inevitable (preparing for death)
• Life after being the caregiver
• Part 2-STRESS AND THE CAREGIVER-10 Steps for Self- Care.
